BTN: $45.42 (90.8 bb)
SB: $68.45 (136.9 bb)
BB: $14.49 (29 bb)
UTG: $44.68 (89.4 bb)
MP: $160.82 (321.6 bb)
Hero (CO): $55.96 (111.9 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J♥ K♥
2 folds, Hero raises to $1.50, BTN calls $1.50, SB calls $1.25, BB folds

Flop: ($5) J♣ 2♣ 6♠ (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3.75, BTN calls $3.75, SB folds

Turn: ($12.50) 5♠ (2 players)
Hero bets $8, BTN calls $8

River: ($28.50) T♠ (2 players)
Hero bets $11.50, BTN calls $11.50

Villain: 30/20 3bet: 10 (22 hands)

Only real tell I have is his half stack, doubt he's a very good player.

Anyways flop, betting for value against flush draws and worse jacks, which he's very likely to have.
Turn, same as on the flop.
River, draw misses, one of villains "possible" jack combos improves, JT, but QJ and worse still exist in his range thus my fairly small bet.

I don't want to check/fold because, I don't see him betting any worse jacks, however he might be capable of betting a busted flush draw, so I would still have to call imo.

Thus, I prefer the small bet/fold line to squeeze out a few extra bucks against any worse jack he might have in his range.

I think river is too thin but I would c/c it also, if his bet is reasonable ofc.

Hello axelphoney,

Guess I'd be more inclined to Check/Call it instead, there ain't like tons of hands which pay us but meanwhile he could still have enough of missed draws there. Nor I wouldn't say that Bet/Fold is either wrong, there are still some hands which may pay you and not only even Jx hands, may easily do the call-down even with Tx/99 or whatsoever hand as well.

Best Regards.
