If he had hit his set on the flop, he would have bet the turn OOP I guess. Anyway, pay attention to your stats too: if you have a high flop c-bet he might have called you with air in order to take the pot on the flop with a check-raise. After seeing you give up on the turn he makes that unorthodox all-in on the river... might be a possibility :f_frown:

Hello malcolmlinco,

As long he seems to be rather loose according the stack and stats we might be able to get paid once we hit. I'd play the same way, he can easily trap you on the turn with FH which just lets you hit a draw.
