I have seen villain 3Betting QQ from SBvsUTG while ~200BB deep and overplaying QQ overpair vs BB reg coldcaller in the very same hand on xxTJ rainbow board.

I find this hand rather difficult to play. I would assume that villain's calling range in that spot may be JJ–AA, maybe AK sometimes. And even that I can't tell because the only reason to believe this is his stats, since he is a mass multitabling supernova reg, from whom you would typically not even expect to call 4Bets IP.

Therefore I am not all that sure I know what to do here postflop. There is basically potential value only from QQ or a strong draw, for example, AcKc, and once he pushes I am rather afraid of him having JJ or AA. But bet/folding just doesn't seem right.

Thus could I maybe just check on the flop and see what he does? It's tough to play the hand and if he bets big this might even be a fold maybe?

Hello Avatars91,

Can't really see that we have a lot beat on the flop, especially with his W$SD I don't think he will end up having even there many QQ type of hands.

Checking could be an option if we assume he ain't taking stabs with very weak hands, though it will be very difficult to continue once he bets something like $3+.

Best Regards.

Thus as strange as it seems we are probably even better off check/folding on the flop, unless he bets ~1/2 pot size, maybe even smaller?

I'd still CB it and reevaluate the turn, doubt that he is taking stabs on the turn with a lot weaker hands.
