I think bet slightly bigger on the flop to set up a more standard turnshove..

Betting 5k or there abouts on the flop, would leave you with a pot sized shove on the turn (15k stack shoving into 16k pot)

I may have been inclined to check/shove the flop myself, you have a decent stack to shove over the top of a 2/3 pot bet.

As played, I personally don't think shoving the turn is a bad play and you are generally only getting called by two pairs, sets, and AQ/AK.. Meaning Ace rag hands which you are behind to will more than likely fold the turn.

I'll be interested to hear wat line the judge reckons is best!

p.s. I haven't posted in the hand eval forums in a long time, so my judgement may be slightly off but i'm just throwing a few ideas out there..

The betsize on the flop is ok as long as you are contibetting a lot. Otherwise it will get too expensive in the long run. In most cases it doesn't make sense to bet half potsize in 4way pots. 1/3 or even less ist sufficient most of the times. In the end you have to get some kind of balancing into your game. You won't bet your Ace high 4way for half the pot

As played I would play the turn check/raise allin. You get another bet from weaker holdings that would fold on your shove. Hands that are better then yours will call your shove anyways. Therefore the open shove doesn't add much value in this case. Most better hands won't fold, while most worse hands won't call.

If your opponent checks behind you can easily evaluate the river. In most cases you can either bet/fold, or check/fold or bet/call the river - depending on your reads on your opponent as well as the river card obv.
