Hero (BTN/SB): t11832 M = 11.83
BB: t15168 M = 15.17

Pre Flop: (t1000) Hero is BTN/SB with A♣ 3♣
Hero raises to t1200, BB raises to t15118 all in, Hero calls t10582 all in

Flop: (t23664) Q♥ 4♥ 8♦ (2 players - 2 are all in)

Turn: (t23664) 2♦ (2 players - 2 are all in)

River: (t23664) 2♠ (2 players - 2 are all in)

Final Pot: t23664
Hero shows A♣ 3♣ (a pair of Deuces)
BB shows Q♠ 3♠ (two pair, Queens and Deuces)
BB wins t23664

Based on my stats for villain at the time, he was pretty loose and was classified as green fish according to HEM. I figured a3s would be ahead against a lot of his ranges. However, the blinds were still relatively small to our stacks and if I did fold this hand I would have had 10+ bb left which would leave me enough room to push with a stronger hand.

Thanks,

MB

Hello maythany,

Most of the time I would raise/fold here. Only against very aggressive opponent who is often restealing we may raise/call for value but won't be very happy with it. If villain is such a often restealing opponent than I like your play.

Best regards,

This was the first hand heads up during the final table. I assumed any ace would be good in that situation and I've seen him push very light before the ITM. Overall, I should probably have folded.

Hello,

We can push directly here but it is to variational. It would be a +EV push for sure but for such a big stack I prefer raise/fold or raise/call. Stronger hand won't fold after we push (only pockets to 55-66 and may be A4-A6) so I prefer to induce and let him push with weaker and or raise/fold if he is tight.

Best regards,
Antoan
