any reasons why you played this way?

preflop:seems fine and you could even 3bet it bigger to like $0.16 or so for value.

flop:cbet is good since villain is likely to have missed this board. when he raises, just fold. why carry on? sure the board misses a lot of his preflop calling range but he has some pocket pairs which we are in bad shape against, and other than that we are crushed against an A8 type hand.

I like your 3-bet play. Postflop you mostly see there pp-s that would not fold, so I would prefer b/f flop
