Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

CO: $52.55 (105.1 bb)
Hero (BTN): $90.97 (181.9 bb)
SB: $142.22 (284.4 bb)
BB: $57.88 (115.8 bb)
MP: $55.27 (110.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with K A
MP folds, CO calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2, SB raises to $7.25, 2 folds, Hero calls $5.25

Flop: ($15.50) 7 Q 2 (2 players)
SB bets $7.75, Hero folds

Anon table.

SB is a reg, has been quite active with his 3bets so far. Being deepstacked, and IP, is it worth calling in this spot? Postflop?

If he was active with 3bets I wouldn't be unhappy even stacking off as he could expect you isolate wide.

Folding is out of question.

Without knowing much about him would take easy line and fold flop.

Yeah, but as Ive learnt the hard way , this is one of the tricky things about Anonim tables, and small samples that comes with them... He got 3-4 good hands in a row, and you categorize him as a loose player... Not to mention about how light he would really go broke. Got some AA into my face this way at the beginning... :)
So I had doubts about stacking off 180bb deep against him.
On the other hand, folding would be VERY weak, so calling seems fine.

Hello pcfmcc02,

Preflop: His 3bet size doesn't really look that loose and people usually tend to tighten up when they are deep, so you have to watch out. Which means might even be better to just 4bet/Fold it instead and if he has a loose range you will have tons of fold equity while being deep.

As played
Postflop: Not much to comment whilst hard to build his image as him being unknown.

Best Regards.
