BB is calling station, is it ok to get in here on such a dry board? Or is it overplayed? Should I check call turn and evaluate river?

Hello Brade88,

Preflop:

Smaller raise. Raise to 150 chips is enough.

Flop:

On this dry board there is no need to c-bet more than 170 chips. Against calling station we can c-bet even a bit smaller because he is going to call to often and we don't have too strong hand.

Turn:

If you think he is going to call you here with A high, Q high and etc, it is OK to bet again.

River:

Just check/fold. You said he is calling station, so he is passive and he will check behind most of the time. There is no need to shove here. He may even call you with 4, 5 and etc.

Best regards,
Antoan

Pre-flop:

Ok, i usually make it a bit smaller (2.5x max)

Flop:

Standard cbet

Turn:

I usually give up on this turn. That's not a scary card for villain, and he's pretty bad, so i can see him go crazy with nothing here.

River:

Which hands do you think he's folding that are better than pocket 3's? I would say probably a 4x, which is very unlikely. I don't see this type of villain folding a K, a 5, a 9, or a pocket pair at this point.

i just think that a check/call is better here against a really bad player. He's also not likely to call anything at all worse than pocket 3's, so you're just betting as a bluff against someone that isn't likely to fold anything better.

PS: Either that or a check/fold, which i still prefer
