Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

CO ($50)

SB ($50.10)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, T.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.50, 2 folds, MP3 raises to $1, 1 fold, Button calls $1, 2 folds, UTG+1 calls $0.50.

Flop: ($3.75) J, 5, 9 (3 players)

Is it possible for me to make a squeeze-play and push this hand? MP3 raises then one caller.

Squeeze is a bluff and if you have reads-stats on raiser+caller and willing sacrifice your stack you can do it. In this situation I can squeeze with AQs, 99,TT and of course with better hands. But you should avoid marginal situations ,leave them to NL100-200.

I wouldn't risk my stack with ATs here.
But then again, I'm only playing NL25 :P

The judges will probably say you can squeeze play here if you have any reads/stats.

Because it was NL50 I chose not to attempt the squeeze but if the situation were to represent itself on NL100 would it be a good move? Position should be optimal since i'm pushing pre-flop and have no potential monsters behind me.

Hey JonatanW,

fold here
we have an unknown UTG limper
MP3 only minraises, so pot odds aren't that good
we have no info about their ranges
and have to make a huge overbet (push)

Try to squeeze when CO steals (ATS 20-25+) and BU calls
and I prefer to have a stronger hand, at least 99+ AJ+

DeKuip: nice judge-reading skills ;).

Also, not really much to add after xylere's response. Good luck at the tables!

of course, aaltvater is right)
i was too concentrated on squeeze :P
calling is cool here, as long as you can get away from TP
