How much would you bet on the river? When villain push, I don`t think he will bluff sometimes here. And I don`t think he can push a weaker hand. He can have AA, Ad8d, sometimes A8o,К8,Q8. I dont know can he push AK on the ricer.

Hi all,

I think villain idiots it in often enough on the river to justify a call. I don't think his full range is AA here, and I do think he plays AK or AQ weirdly some of the time and shoves for "value". I call.

BTW me saying I call means a bit, as I definitely tend towards folding too much in this type of spot.

.

Are you seriously?
This isn`t a good thinking.
I value bet river, because I think, that villain can call me with more than 50% with weaker hands and will call or push a better hand less than 50%. That make my bet for value. He can call me with Ax and sometimes with bluffcatcher(pocket pair)
Villain is winning reg and I think he won`t push weaker hands on the river

Hi all,

That sounds quite results oriented. Firstly I don't think we see too many c/r spaz bluffs here as I think most villains recognise that their range is extremely polarised here, with a very very narrow range for value. Consequently I think you're thinking "lets induce to bluff" just as a result of seeing the check/raise, whereas in actuality we get check/raised very very rarely here (few value hands, low chance of spaz).

I'd much prefer just betting big for value from his bluffcatchers here. He will have some very strong bluffcatchers in his range, stuff that simply isn't folding.

Once we've bet I can easily see our opponent thinking his AK is still good or something and c/rai. Remember he only needs 50% against your calling range here for that to be a better line than check/calling.

agree on most of it (if u r saying that when we bet that sizing we "must" sigh call on river)

BUT
imo villain will most times bet/bet/bet AK here so i dont see him having AK most of the time here (not with that SPR)
its not result oriented cos imo with that SPR and how hand is played i love to bet smaler on river as i said to let him more comfortably hero call /or spazz with Ax or busted draw cos we r giving ilusion that our hand is weak

note:
loooking at stack sizes i also like to over bet shove river here and let villain hero calll off

on other side when hero bets that big on river, villain (if he has reads that hero is solid reg) can as u said shove profitably every hand that he is planing to call off with (that shove is even beter with every Ax hand cos hero is folding all of his Ax hands and reduce % of slow play AA to only 1 combo), cos of the stacks sizies its looks very strong and nutty (but in reality only nuts hand that villain can have there, as played, is AA -> total 3 combos) and hero is not calling without boat (and only boat in hero range is 66/86s -> total 4 combos)

Villain don`t think, that I can fold a lot of hands on the river. Because most of the players will think, that they are committed and will call very often.
Therefor villain can push AK for value, and I should call.
But I don`t know does he play AK so.

I think AQ is the same as AK here, and he may just put it in.

I'm not a huge fan of overbet shoving here as I think our opponent will make a hero fold more often. But this is just from personal experience, and you may have different experiences here.
