AK sucks

I hate AK it always gets me into trouble just played a trny n got AK twice n lost both times with it.. maybe my own fault but I'm pretty sure thats what I'm meant to do in these situations.

bl, they are played well

but they're tournaments, we are supposed to drink badbeats and eat variance.

AK is good in later stages of any sng/MTT

in first hand you were 70/30 to win and cant expect to win them all & second one is coin flip

just remember AK will ony hit flop 1 in 3 and board 1 in 2 and you are pushing with A high but with loads of players pushing with Ax is why AK plays so well

In the first hand she (I assume it's a girl since it would be kind of weird nick for a guy IMO) pushes all in with the CO still in the hand and risks a stack of almost 40BB. In the second hand there are still players to act behind her who have her covered and she's pushing like 16,5BB.
What's your opinion on that? I wouldn't push this but maybe that's just me playing bad...

@ LuborC- 1st I was trying to squeeze CO out of the hand, and get heads up vs the shortstack, Most players won't call shortstacks raise with a monster, they're either raising to isolate it or folding weaker hands... I've got no idea why he just called that raise so I'd say it was a bad play on their part.

The 2nd hand.. only 2 players to act after me so, pushing there is the only option I think? With 16BB your meant to push AK vs one raise.

We have to isolate, especially with AK. Do some playing around with equilator/pokerstove in multiway pots and watch your equity plunge. Remember it's a drawing hand; heads up we are strong but in a multi way pot we are not (until we hit).

I used to hate AK too tbh but I used to play it pretty awfully too, imo the most important thing to remember is that we don't have a made hand preflop.
