Hey All,
My name is Travis. I'm 23 years old and I recently graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Mathematics. I now currently living in Toronto where I work as a software developer.
I've been playing poker on an off since about the time I started university but it has mostly been SNG's. Lately though I have started play cash games, specifically I am currently playing NL10 Zoom where I am more or less break even after 16k hands. Currently since my girlfriend is still in school at Waterloo she comes to visit most weekends so I'm not able play much on weekends.
My (very) long term goal for poker is be able to achieve a win rate such that I could make as much money playing poker as I do at my full-time job if I chose to pursue poker as my primary source of income. It is probably important to note that I really enjoy my job and it pays very well (especially for someone just out of school).
My short term goals are:
[ ] Play 10,000 hands per week - this works out to about 2 hours of playing per day (5 days a week)
[ ] Post 5 hands per day on hand review forum (at least until I become more comfortable with my plays)
[ ] Reach sufficient bankroll to play NL25 by December
[ ] Read all NL BSS strategy articles up to an including Gold
