Backdoor virus detected for HM - false alarm?

I recently updated to a new antivirus software: Bitdefender 2013. It has quickly identified that hmhud.exe contained something it thinks is a virus: Backdoor.Generic.288866.

Its possible that this is intentional and not malicious, but it seems like a vulnerability.

I know over in the german community this was recently posted. A fellow PS member also updated (different software) and identified the same thing.

I've crossposted the link. I used google to roughly translate the page.

Which HM version are you using?

The latest bigger issue with a false alarm was some month ago.

I have HM2 and updated it fairly recently.

Previously i was running HM on this computer but uninstalled it after the upgrade.

From what Bitdefender says, the file problem was resolved and I haven't had any problems running HM2 since then.

it might be a coincidence, but not long before I detected this virus my Facebook was hacked from somewhere in Hungary. I don't use it much so I found out afterward.
