BTN: $38.25 (76.5 bb)
SB: $70.15 (140.3 bb)
BB: $50 (100 bb)
UTG: $25.47 (50.9 bb)
Hero (MP): $81.40 (162.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 9 J
UTG calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2, 4 folds, UTG calls $1.50

Flop: ($4.75) 9 5 4 (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $3.50, UTG calls $3.50

Turn: ($11.75) A (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $7.50, UTG raises to $19.97 and is all-in, Hero folds

UTG is a fish.
Turn? My plan was to bet/fold turn, checkback river, but due to stacksize maybe it's not the best play... I didnt want to call his chRaise, even though I got good odds, I dont think I'd be standing well against his range... If he has some kind of a draw, he could have bluffed flop instead.

Hello pcfmcc02,

The problem here is that the guy may easily even ship with just draws/weaker 9x/PP type of holdings. If I'd Bet then I'd also make it accordingly his stack as maybe near 1/2 pot size and then plan to Bet/Fold it.

Would you consider checking behind turn? I thought about it, but then it's very likely I can play the guessing game when he bets into me on the river...

As said I'd most likely rather prefer betting a bit smaller on the turn according his stack and do it mainly for free showdown + protection.
