Villains seems to be a very solid reg according to sharkscope.

He is also relatively wide 3bettor, so here, I am 4betting for value to induce smaller pairs and weak aces to ship over the top.

However, I get flatted. I don't have history of him flatting my 4bets. Is there any speculative hand like KT or QJ, or whatever that you can justify his flat pre? To me it seemed like the immortal nuts as he expects me to cbet and be committed on later streets. I am not sure as I don't have any history of him flatting here. So far I only know he's very balanced with his donk range OOP vs me.

he is gettin quite good odds and plays IP, so I imo it is likely that he has hands like KQ-KT, QJ, AJs and maybe some more in his range as well as nuts of course. I like your play pre although I think calling for setvalue would be ok too. Maybe you should bet little bit bigger but I think your size isn't bad as well. Cbetting on this flop then would be a waste of money imo. It sucks but I guess u just have to let it go.

i like your pre-flop line, i think sizing is perfect. without any history i would put him on a trap and not a speculative hand. KT or QJ type hands are much more likely to flat pre and not 3bet. yeh he's getting odds, but its a 4bet pot, hes not going to 3bet/flat 87s 50bbs deep to 'try flop something' (assuming he's decent).

i'm very tempted to call turn to eval river, it's a good price but im worried about him exploiting us on the river if we c/c turn he should be jamming any river and we really cant do anything without spiking an 8. so i guess just folding turn without reads is fine.
