Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players

BB: $15.69 (31.4 bb)
MP: $52.92 (105.8 bb)
CO: $66.18 (132.4 bb)
Hero (BTN): $99.24 (198.5 bb)
SB: $30.02 (60 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with 7 8
MP raises to $2, CO calls $2, Hero calls $2, 2 folds

Flop: ($6.75) 7 6 2 (3 players)
MP bets $3.25, CO folds, Hero calls $3.25

Turn: ($13.25) 6 (2 players)
MP checks, Hero checks

River: ($13.25) Q (2 players)
MP checks, Hero checks

Anon table.

Against unknowns.

Is calling preflop too marginal? I thought it's a good spot to play a speculative hands against two opponents in position.
Flop? I felt folding would be too weak against this halfpot bet. From a TAG this cbet 3way on a drawy board would be a sign of strength, but I dont know him in this regard, and based on sizing, he could be even trying to steal the pot.
Turn? Better to float, maybe protect myself against X:cX hands?

Hello pcfmcc02,

Assuming that he 2nd barrels very often with 1card FD on the turn I guess I'd play the same way. He may still have some PPs which are turning it into bluff-catcher with having the in it. Therefore not much to comment here.

Best Regards.
