Not a great hand to raise pre-flop with, but if you're doing it to mix up your play ok i guess.
As played, on the flop I would have played this as a check/raise all-in I think. A check raise gives you lots of fold equity against any hand without a pair, and you still have plenty of outs if your called by a pair.
Don't know if this is the best play, its just what I would have done.
I would check-behind here, then if he checks again i would bet/fold turn, if he bets(and i mean here a normal bet, not some minbet) - well, you could call, but i think it would be better to wait for better spot.
As played, its easy fold for me after hes shove
oops, i read it too quick and though you were first to act :tongue:. I agree with checking behind second to act because you get to chase your draw for free.
I'd still be interested to know if check/raising all-in would be a good play here if you are first to act.
if we reverse this situation then check/shove could be an option here, cuz this flop is very likely to miss our opponent, and hes flop bet means quite nothing,nevertheless i wouldnt do it often

It's not a good hand to raise preflop like gggeorgio said, but my opponent was too tight and I folded the last hands.

few these about Heads-up , there are few ways to play it but the key things are
1) Play the player , there is always a way to beat the way a player plays and adjust your game and playing loads of sng you will get to learn which style will suit different types of players
2) Aggression - The poker pro's weapon of choice , your apponent will only hit the flop 1/3 , so take advantage of the button & raise it up , it's not so much about your cards as playing to player
Play loads of sng & in the end will pay you back big time , this week won nice tourney for 2.3K and heads-up did not lose a hand

Raising or folding (or even limping in) preflop is just a question of style, of which there's many in HU....
I'd personally raise to 2.5BB though, and cbet flop.
I would raise around 1k preflop if u want to raise. On the flop I see no way how you can get out of this hand since he will often reraise you with air on a low paired board. So I just go broke.
