I think i misplayed this hand . On the turn i was scared that somebody might have nut straight . So i decided to bet smaller and fold to a raise .

should i bet close to the pot on the turn ?

I agree with pot turn and give up to raise.

Against these players who seem to be passive and wont bluff raise you I don't mind a smaller bet, but obviously it needs to be around 65% of the pot, any smaller does price in draws.

I think a bet/fold line is fine here, even a non nut straight might just call you rather than raise. My turn bet would have been around $1.60, as when we're ahead we don't have much to fear against players who don't have a flush draw.
