SB ($14.47)
BB ($2.95)
UTG ($10.80)
UTG+1 ($12.77)
Hero ($10.20)
BTN ($10)

Dealt to Hero A♥ 5♥

fold, UTG+1 raises to $0.60, Hero raises to $1.80, fold, fold, BB raises to $2.95 (AI), UTG+1 calls $2.35, Hero calls $1.15

FLOP ($8.95) J♥ A♣ T♦

TURN ($8.95) J♥ A♣ T♦ J♣

UTG+1 checks, Hero checks

RIVER ($8.95) J♥ A♣ T♦ J♣ 7♦

UTG+1 bets $2, Hero calls $2

Spoiler

BB shows Q♥ Q♠
(Pre 52%, Flop 24.7%, Turn 14.3%)

UTG+1 shows 8♦ 8♠
(Pre 19%, Flop 9.3%, Turn 4.8%)

Hero shows A♥ 5♥

Hero wins $12.31
(Pre 29%, Flop 66.1%, Turn 81.0%)

Both villains are basically unknown (minus 20 hands).

I'm not sure if I played this hand correctly. PF I get such great odds flatting is a no brainer, but on the flop I don't know quite well if i'm ahead or behind. The villain's range is 22-AA, AT+, maybe KQs.

If I raise all the better hands will shove instantly and no weaker will call. So i just c/c to see the showdown as cheaply as possible?

Suppose MP bets donkbets 1/2pot on the flop. Do I have any choice besides folding given that I was the PFR and I have no information on the player?

Hello Jehryn,

Add to full stack if playing BSS.

Preflop: Fold it preflop with your stack!

As played
Postflop: Bet the turn for value and might even protect.

Best Regards.
