PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, 60 Tournament, 25/50 Blinds (5 handed) - PokerStars Converter Tool from de.FlopTurnRiver.com

saw flop

BU (t2655)
SB (t1384)
BB (t1485)
UTG (t1659)
MP (t1817)

BU's M: 35.40

Preflop: BU is Button with 10:club:, J♠
2 folds, BU bets t100, SB raises to t250, 1 fold, BU raises to t400, SB calls t150

Flop: (t850) 6♣, 10:spade:, 5♥ (2 players)
SB checks, BU bets t315, 1 fold

Total pot: t850

Hand is not played by me, I'm just curious. SB is aggro reg 3betting 10% (from Sb against another Reg probably ~18%). I think I like Bu's small 4bet, he can still fold against a shove, it's easy to balance and he might make the SB spew with weak holdings when Bu has the nuts. Do you agree? But what about Villains flat? He is getting pretty good odds but I think I don't like it anyway. He could do it with KK and AA to get another bet out of BU's bluffs but I think he should shove or fold most other hands.
Then on the flop I think we have to bet and probably bet/fold because he will only have very few bluffs in his check/shoving range on this flop.

Agree. oop flat is not balanceable and likely bad unless really spewy dynamic with BU, in which case SB could flat a few extra hands to induce.

Can't really b/f tp in 3b pot without some cast iron reads. I bet/c to stack weirdly played AQ or w/e.

BTN is very close to being committed with the min4b. if SB 5bet shoves he has to call 1k into 1875. almost 2:1. so depending on what he thinks SB is 5betting exactly he might still be able to do this and fold. i would advise just 4bet jamming with 30bb eff stacks because the odds you get facing a 5bet mean you are usually committed (unless you have some crazy read on a JJ+ 5bet range).

SB 5bets JJ+ pre usually, so flop is an easy bet/call to induce spaz from random broadways or suited connectors.

I think even if he is 5betting a normal range we can still 4bet/fold here. We need 35% Equity to breakeven in chipev and need to add another few percent due to icm-tax. And with JTo you won't have enough equity to call against any reasonable 5bet range.

^^ yes . although it gets interesting once he sees you 4b/fold once. because then he adds bluffs into his 5bet range. ;)
