Prima, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

Hero (BB): $72.41 (144.8 bb)
UTG: $11.65 (23.3 bb)
MP: $50.25 (100.5 bb)
CO: $111.23 (222.5 bb)
BTN: $50 (100 bb)
SB: $50 (100 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T 9
4 folds, SB raises to $1.50, Hero calls $1

Flop: ($3) J 8 5 (2 players)
SB bets $1.50, Hero raises to $5, SB calls $3.50

Turn: ($13) A (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $8.50, SB calls $8.50

River: ($30) 3 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

Anon table.

I had only a few hands on SB, didnt seemed fishy so far (~20/20), but mostly unknown.

Is it a good line BvB? His cbet size doesnt show much strength, and I have decent equity, so made my semibluff raise.
Turn? It couldnt help him too much, but could be another overcard to his hand. Plus if he has some draw, mainly he could only continue with A:hX:h...

Hello pcfmcc02,

If we are playing those hands passively preflop then we also have to consider taking stabs on such boards with our draw + FE. So doubt that there is that much to do than 2barrel at least.

Best Regards.

OK, thanks.

We didnt have any history/dynamics before this hand, and he showed 9:s5:s... :f_o:
I was really curious afterwards, if he'd herocall a riverpush as well...
I was also wondering, if he is a big fish, or a lowstakes TAG who sat down playing after watching a highstakes vid... :f_cool: Sometimes the difference is just close to nothing... :)
