NL4 FR 101112 - A9o pair folding river

I guess this is a fold, even if we have good prize for calling. Guess we can't beat him, he might have hit better 2pairs, even flush comes there. And that bet just seems like to scream for a call..

The bet on the river does seems like a bait BUT can easily be a weak bluff. Many guys in these limits are afraid to bluff/value bet big so they bet small in spots like these due to uncertainty.

Besides, you should consider with what hands he would flat call preflop and call flop:

AA/KK/AK/AQ seems almost impossible to me.

AJ/AT are possible but improbable since these hands are easily dominated; still, villain could not be aware of that.

A8, A7 and A4 are really weak aces to be flat calling with so I doubt villain would be doing that.

The only and most logical hand against which you're behind is 77.

He could have a runner flush, but my guess is that he's got any Kx hand.

400hands and so far he hasn't continue from turn, so guess he has at least better Ace, but never air there, IMO.

BTN called with another player left behind so he is more likely to have an Ax than anything else.

There are very few draws that he can call with. The turn bet may also be too thin because there isn't much worse that can call us. So you can consider ck/folding turn.

If he checks back the turn he is less likely to have a better hand (Although AT and AJ may still check) so we can play the river from there (bet small on river or just ck/fold).
