The time has come!
As much as i dont like to share my toughts and expose myself to the public i feel like this is a must for me to move forward in poker. Its not because i got somthing to hide, no... Im just used to deal with my problems and dificulties by my own and not to ask for help around. Works fine in real life, but not so much in process of learning poker... So, here i am starting my first blog EVER! Im not much of a writer and english is not my main language but i will try my best to transform my toughts in somthing understandable and readable. The main goal is to gather the random toughts and questions i have about the poker and find some answers to them and make some plan how to progress faster in poker and become a stable winning player.
-) Little about me
My name ir Artūrs and im 22 years old. Im from little country named Latvia. As a hobbys i could mention keeping my self in good physical shape by going to the gym from time to time when work is not killing me and having some freeride with a bike in woods or some downhill road. Atm im working in logging field as a "tree chopper" and doing some management work too, not the easiest job but at least the payment is ok. I was a student of human psychology for a cople of years, but recently gave it up because atm economical situation in my country is fucked up so much that there is no point in getting a bachelors degree, so i chose to get full time work instead. Not going so well with that too... Working just part time, so basicly i got pretty much free time that just motivates me to move forward with learning poker. Not just because i see some decent income here if hard work is invested, i love the game too and like any normal human being i tend to achieve situation in life were i can earn my living by doing somthing i really like. Even now when the economical future seems pretty dark in my country at least for next 5-10 years, i get some extra motivation to push my self a little bit more to use potentional the god(no im not religious) have gave me, to earn some decent living out of playing poker. After all the avarage payment in our country atm is around 700$ PER MONTH and i know i can achieve monthly income like this from poker in a year or so. Sounds good on papier but will see how it goes...
-) Some poker BIO
I play poker for last 3 years or so... Starded right in to real money cash games on full tilt, basicly made minimum deposits which was 10$ or so and lost them ofc one by one playing games i had no clue how to deal with. I kept paying and sinking money like this for about a year with like total of 100$ lost or so. Started to understand a thing ot two about the game basicly on my own not using any info or guides because i just didnt care that i was losing all the time, i just had some fun.
Then i found pokerstrategy and applied for 50$ BR on WH. It went pretty well for a total beginner because i finally started to read some info i could find here and some more on internet. Even did some 1/3 of a book, dont remember the name, but it was known like a bible for newbies, some no limit book from sklansky and malmuth. I got some real basic knowlage of the game. Went pretty well with that WH BR for a while untill i found some "rulette supersystem" i just HAD to try. I think i dont have to explain more what happened with my BR. ♦
After that i moved to Stars, because FT was already down. Still made thouse little silly deposits of 10-20$ but at least now i already had some sense what was i doing. Spent some time like this trying every game to find what fits me more and what could be proffitable. I started to play 6max hypers more. I found my self here profitable on some bigger scale. Did some ICM training from time to time. Dig some info more about how to beat this game and it seems like to start working for me. Havent made any deposits like for a half a year now. Just working with what i got already in there. To summerize last half a year which i am really started learning some for real i have been living (pokerwise) on 6max hypers and been sinking my BR on everything else. I didnt kept my self in some BR management so i droped close to 0 BR for cople times by playing all that i like (tournaments up to 10$ BUI / MTTs / cash games NL5 for like 10k hands / zoom NL5 for 10k hands) (with BR less than 50$ LOL ♦ ) and lucklly 6max hypers have pulled me out again and again.
So like a month ago i quit this shit and told my self, that i wana give poker a REAL shot! I stoped playing games i cant afford (almost) and trying to keep my self into some BR management to see how it goes. I started at ~10$ BR and strictly stick to 6max hypers as it seemd to be only ones working for me. I did like 600-700 games last month with a proffit around 60$ (sadly i cant add any graphs yet because my HM trial ended and im tight on cash atm to buy one, but will do soon). I was pretty satisfidied, because it felt like a middle points between up and down swings in these ~700 games.
I finally had some little BR to work with. I decided to change rooms because of big volume of regs on stars and lack of rakeback. I was w8ing on FT to reopen with a big hope as i tought it would be flat rakeback, but as it turned out its not... So this nice oportunity u guys offered came out with party poker, so i moved my BR to partypoker, to clear some first deposit bonus there and get some higher status here, so i get some decent learning material.

I strongly believe that i have what it takes to become a good poker player! Yes, i might be lazy and fast going with my temper but i have this gift from the god (or call it waterver u like) i understand things and the way how they work, and when i do, i find the way how to manipulate with them in my favour (in a good way). Since i remember my self my brain have worked this way by constantly analysing anything what happens to me and around me. I have found the answers even for the smallest details in life how and why its like that and not the other way.I believe that with enough learning and proper training i can go pretty deep in poker in a short period of time. I just need to some how get through micro stakes were too many players are unpredictable, to get to the level where the logic and sharp thinking takes place and is rewarded with the results. With the help of u guys i have a real shot here to become a POKER PLAYER!
