I was uncomfortable with bet/calling the turn vs the shortstack and thus decided to check in order to potentially induce a bluff/semibluff vs which I could push and maybe even get it in good.
Though I guess it is not the best play at all since he can as well often check behind hands with equity and if we plan to get it in with a check/raise, why not bet/call?
So I think I should have bet/called afterall.
