I have no info about villain. And had no idea how to play this hand.
First, oop on the flop, should I bet? how much? What about if he re-raises?
On the turn, I think I should have betted there, but what after his overbet?

In the worst case scenario for us, versus 78, 88, JJ and flushes (and some T9) we have about 27% equity.

IF we now add other hands such as NFD+pair (Like AJ) your equity goes up but it's never amazing.

This is actually a spot where you can bet/fold the flop more often than not.

As played what do you expect him to bet that big on the turn? Do you expect to be ahead often? To me it looks like his is trying to either bet large with a set or lower flush to protect (or simply bluff but that's hard to assume for unknown).
