Hi!
CO 25/19/1.2/4.0/56/121hands
44%RFI from CO
40/40/20 FT3b/call3b/4b

I liked 3betting since he can call wide IP, also since I'm in SB I don't really like calling with BB to act.

Do you like pot controlling turn once we hit?
Playing it as played?
Or value bet turn/block bet river?
Thought about pot controlling turn since he doesn't seem aggressive.

My sizing could be bigger though, I didn't realize he was a bit deep at the time.

OTR I figured he would check most SD value back & only bet maybe 2pair+
I think he also still has sets in his range.
Can't see many worse made hands betting river, or many missed draws in his range. what do you think?

CO: $31.01 (124 bb)
BTN: $10.10 (40.4 bb)
Hero (SB): $50.01 (200 bb)
BB: $32.34 (129.4 bb)
UTG: $45.04 (180.2 bb)
MP: $78.70 (314.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q J
2 folds, CO raises to $0.75, BTN folds, Hero raises to $2.50, BB folds, CO calls $1.75

Flop: ($5.25) T 2 8 (2 players)
Hero bets $2.60, CO calls $2.60

Turn: ($10.45) J (2 players)
Hero bets $5.40, CO calls $5.40

River: ($21.25) A (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $10, Hero folds

Results:

Spoiler

$21.25 pot ($1.06 rake)
Final Board: T 2 8 J A
CO mucked and won $20.19 ($9.69 net)
Hero mucked Q J and lost (-$10.50 net)

Hello dannywratten,

Pot controlling could be an option in those spots but it's going to be difficult to call-down him 2 streets. If he is passive then though Checking and giving him the opportunity to call-down later on looser is also fine.

But as you played and had the plan for Bet/Fold it's also fine and do it mainly for free showdown.

Best Regards.
