overpair and 2 fishes

i 3bet on flop so the other fish doesnt go after his overcards, so for protection, and because i though the first fish could have worse hands

It looks like we are really deep here.

Are we 3bet folding on the flop? Stacking off almost 400 bb with TT would be light.

As played we can't really bet/call the turn and then give up on the river so folding the turn is fine.

i think it's a good spot to bluffcatch.. he only reps a set otf/FH ott on this dry board.... so surely if we turn our TT into a bluffcatcher it is profitable? i hate raising and folding here with a hand which is likely to be the best so i'd just call him down rather than raise him at any point... with that said, your reasoning for 3betting and making the pot HU makes perfect sense..

as played here i really doubt villain is bluffing after he continues his aggression ott.. playing so passively preflop and so aggressively post flop while deep just screams he has it imo

I still think that villain can have draws and 88-99 which are worse than our hand. So I still see value in betting.

However if we want to keep the pot as small as possible we can check back and play the river. This way we make sure that the pot stays smalish.

Folding the flop would be too weak? I think, that BB probably would raise 88, 99 on the flop (and sets, of course.), but would just call with FD`s.

I just don`t think he`s capable of semi-bluffing 3-way.

As played, I would never stack off on the flop and would not turn my hand into a bluff.

Considering that we have position and are this deep I don't mind calling here instead of folding. And keeping the pot on the small side.

The 3-bet on the flop is the loose part because we are building the pot up with a hand that's not very strong.
