Hello everybody!
I'm from a small poor country called Estonia! I like playing football and I still study. I'm not a too big fan of reading books which sucks but if needed
I can push myself into reading some- I'm not a good writer. I'm renting an apartment with a few relatives at the moment because my real home is far away from the school I want to and do study at. My english isn't the best either so it'd be nice if some of my followers corrected me if I'm gonna have any, lol.
Why did I start this blog? ![]()
I started this blog because I'd like to track my progress and hopefully get some connections in future. Also this is would be a good place for me to
write down my goals which will keep me motivated hopefully!
Meh poker career ![]()
I first played texas hold'em poker on some nooby play money site because some of my classmates had played it. After some weeks I had done really well and played the highest stake tables on that site. After some time pokerstars started having advertisements on TV and I made account on pokerstars. I played with play money until I reached the maximum you could have there.. then I discovered freerolls, god I was excited, I could win some real money without investing any of my own!! So I played them for awhile until I cashed for some cents and that's where I got started.
After making my first cents I got into 9 man regular speed sngs which went fairly well, after making about 100$ I found pokerstrategy. With this sites help I managed to get my roll on sngs $2k+, unfortunately the traffic on 15$ and 30$ 9 man sngs got really low so I decided to switch over to cash.
I had always been a fan of HU play so I jumped straight up into NL50 HU tables (it's the minimum limit on stars for HU). I had no experience whatsoever with cash games so I decided to search for a coach.. I happily found one, he told me that HU cash is really hard, especially if you haven't played 6max or full ring cash before so I started mixing HU with 6max (never really got into coaching though because after a bit I thought I could beat NL50 myself too by reading articles and watching videos on PS). Played about 40k hands on 6max so far and 20k on HU (NL50), not too happy with my 6max, slightly above breakeven. Doing pretty good on HU though
I'm way overrolled for NL50 right now but I can't be asked moving to NL100 on 6max atleast when I'm slightly above breakeven:(!
Why do I think I could be successful with poker? ![]()
I think my psychological side on poker is really strong, I can handle swings really well imo. I don't remember the last time I tilted or got mad over bad beats or downswings. I'm sure it has some bad sides aswell- I kinda go careless on how much have I won/lost, thankfully I haven't made any silly plays yet though (by the way I'm not rich or anything irl). Also I'm pretty good at head calculating, I've even gone to some competitions and have got top places over tens of thousands of people. I'm very competitive aswell. I enjoy poker overall, I love playing it and I take it as my hobby which could possibly be my #1 income in future.
So I currently play NL50 HU and 6max, I play 6 tables at once on pokerstars. I'm going to try and find out weather I want to continue with HU or 6max in the next 100k hands or so. I will start posting graphs and results at the end of every month. I'll also try to post some hands I'm clueless at to this blog, maybe some funny ones too but I don't think I'm gonna post some bad beats which is kinda lame in my opinion.

since I chill with some Finnish people on teamspeak and talk about poker with them. Estonian and Finnish language are a little similar so it should be easier for me to learn it compared to avg person.
