SB checks, Hero bets $0.50, SB calls $0.50

SB checks, Hero checks

SB bets $1.71, Hero folds

I think cbet in position is ok but villain is a calling station.

Hello,

I think you should define better "calling station".
Overall if you expect him to call a lot I'd just check preflop.

On the flop again I would check, since we barely have any equity and I don't think we have too much fold equity against a calling station.

Turn doesn't really change much and giving up is the best here.

Fold on the river is fine.

So overall - if you expect him to call preflop and flop a lot, I'd just check preflop and see the flop.
