I call too. Since you are heads up, he probably doesn't have two clubs, probably an overpair with a club. In this case you are a favourite, and you still have full house outs.

First, I think you shouldnt open limp 99 from MP.

it cost you ~17$ to win ~27$. So you need to win 65% of the times to make the call profitable.

the range of villain is probably an overpair with a club inside (but not necessarily, he might put you on a flush draw). He might also have hands like AK, AQ, AJ with a club. The problem is since you didnt raise your hand PF, his range is not well defined. He might as well have 9Ts of clubs and decided to punish your limping....

Since his range is so wide, you have way more than 65% equity, therefore you should call.

instacall. same exact logic. villain is in SB, thus most prolly in top of his range and you're ahead.


Sb has a lot of times here overpair with club, so I'd instacall.
