BTN: $7.59 (75.9 bb)
SB: $14.08 (140.8 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 8♦ 8♣
UTG calls $0.10, MP folds, Hero raises to $0.40, BTN calls $0.40, 3 folds

Flop: ($1.05) K♥ 2♠ 7♦ (2 players)
Hero bets $0.55, BTN calls $0.55

Turn: ($2.15) 2♣ (2 players)
Hero bets $1.15, BTN calls $1.15

River: ($4.45) 4♥ (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN checks

the opp is ukn 37/5/61 hands ok the second barrel ? I dont want to check and give up my second pair . And what if the turn was an overcard (A Q J) i still inclide to bet/fold it too.

Reasons for betting:
1) To gain value from worse hands
2) To bluff out stronger

Turn: Are you getting 99-QQ to fold if you bet? Perhaps? But does he limp/call these mid-large pocketpairs? Rarely.
Are u getting KX to fold? Never
Do you think 7X calls again? No

I think this makes it a check/fold.

nice explain tnx mbml ;D The prob is that i am afraid of getting bluff if i show weakness by checking and get bluffed from sth like 7x 66 or so But i think these type of opps arent gonna bluff worst hands from mine ..
