H1. Definitely one for your notes. ;)

I wouldn't post too many of these, though. You're actually giving quite a lot of info to all the fellow regs in yours and his games. Now they know to avoid shoving wide into this guy b/c he makes spewy calls on the bubble. You're potientially handing this guy free walks in future games against regs who see this hand. Since his call is bad (losing him and you $ in this spot, when you have to flip with him for your T life) if he should happen to search his name and see this, he might improve...

I guess you're right. I don't normally make a habit of educating the fish, but I guess I shouldn't publicly flame bad regs either. What's worse, they might turn to you for some coaching and you'd be pointing these same spots, but charging them for it

Just leave nicks out from future posts. I think these sort of posts are not good etiquette toward any fellow player. Maybe just my opinion.

what is wrong with posting these hands? If it was a $1.50 people would be saying keep playing and eventually you will win money etc etc.

Why should $15/$30 players be treated any different?

I agree :)

Also why would you want to tell everyone else? Sure post the hand but these are the players you want all to yourself!

Agree 100% re the bad etiquette in using screen names when posting a hand (don't think the poster intended any malice btw and in reply to him/her, no, nothing wrong with posting hands, just the use of the screen name was being objected to, the hands were good). I wouldn't like it if it was me being exposed playing poorly.

However, does it not follow then that Coaches shouldn't post instructional videos on the site where live play is involved without first editing names out? How many hundreds of "fish" "bad regs" etc are having their nicks and poor plays exposed every week here via this medium? Even when done using a hand re player I rarely see videos where players names are edited out to read "Seat 1, Seat 2.....etc or even being blurred prior to posting.

How about live training tonight...will hands not be discussed with names of villains displayed on screen for all to see? What do you think?

I guess I was a little bit malicious, however the point of the thread was just to have a bit of fun more than anything. You do make an interesting point though. But would you say that quoting somebody saying something stupid and then revealing their identity is bad etiquette too?

I see where you are coming from but i think there is a fine line somewhere. Here is my opinion anyway. There is a difference. Someone posting hands saying "omg look at this fkn fish he playz 82 coz its sooted" (im not talking about OP by the way im just speaking in general) posting 5/6 hands of a really bad player or like in this instance some bad regs, is a lot worse than in a coaching or a vid where the coach would say something like "ok in this spot we can play x y and z hands because we have seen him make bad plays already" It very rarely gets to a stage of berating an opponent. Also as said in here coaches won't want to say too much about specific players in vids because they use those reads to make money.

So whilst it's essentially the same thing the way its done makes it a lot more acceptable in my opinion anyway
