BB was playing 10/8/6.3 over ~200 hands. He's clearly very tight, but an otherwise fairly solid player from what I've seen so far. BU was a pretty fishy player over 300+ hands.
Against this guy, who is so tight, I pretty much insta-mucked. I feel like his range against my UTG raise (which is going to be a somewhat tight range, which I expect he will have noticed) is going to be extremely tight, maybe QQ+,AK?
If we 4bet here, BU is pretty mich always going to fold. When he just calls my raise here he likelyl doesn't have a hand he can call a 3bet with, let alone a 4bet. So BB is the only guy I'm worried about here. If I 4bet, I'm pretty sure he's just going to call with KK+, because I'm fairly sure he can fold QQ.
If that is indeed the case, should we 4bet here? I feel like I made the right play here. Even though he's going to fold like 70% of the time, his calling range has us crushed so badly that I think that, after taking rake into consideration as well, cutting down on the money we win if we do manage to win the pot, we should fold anyway.
This is pretty much the first real nit I've faced on NL10 SH so far, because most players I'm facing are just pretty loose passive, weak players. This guy at least pays some attention, and hardly ever plays a hand.
Thoughts?
