SB posts SB $0.10, BB posts BB $0.25

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero has A♦ A♥

fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to $0.50, fold, BB raises to $2.50, Hero calls $2.00

Flop: ($5.10, 2 players) 4♠ 9♥ 4♦
BB bets $2.75, Hero calls $2.75

Turn: ($10.60, 2 players) 9♠
BB checks, Hero checks

River: ($10.60, 2 players) K♠
BB checks, Hero bets $5.75, BB calls $5.75

Villain= 18/16/3/26 339h Cbet= 32 3bet= 4 foldto4bet= 2/2

Flop: I flat because h's capable to 2d barrelling turn with lots of worse hands.
Turn: I could valuebet small and try to get payed by TT, JJ and some (unlikely) Ax. But I'll make a lot of hands fold.

What note would you take looking at the showdown?:

Spoiler

He calls and shows AA

Hi BlackCats,

Preflop: With AA here I don't like slowplaying especially since he isn't such a huge 3-bettor to begin with.

I much more prefer to 4-bet/get it in and cooler all his value hands, mainly AK that will rarely ever hit the flop now that we have two of the aces (and if AK doesn't hit it doesn't pay off much). Based on the stats you listed the guy seems passive so we won't even have much value form trying to let him bluff postflop.

As played the guy seems passive so I don't think we can induce a bluff on river from hands that would not be able to call a turn bet.

I much more prefer to bet at least something like $3 to induce a light call/raise.

you say he seems passive but he actually has an AF of 3 (sorry if that wasnt clear, I should give a key of the stats)

any point taking a note about his play, since it is a weird line to take with AA?

I was looking more at his low cbet % (32) - if I'm seeing this correctly.

Do you think the way he played the hand is "standard" or expected? If not, we take a note :)
