If you reinstalled postgres and didn't choose your existing cluster (= data folder) a new database was created.

The old database is still saved under c:\programs\postgres\8.x\data.old or something similiar.

But to restore it you need to reinstall postgresql again following this FAQ: http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/71/Reinstall+PostgreSQL+Preserving+Old+Database and rename the data.old folder before doing this.

If you are only missing the hands its probably enough to import them into your new database via import from folder and select c:\hmarchive

i deleted the old postgres folder(that was the procedure in the thread i read) and i instaled postgres 9.2. so i can't find the old database.

another problem is that in WPT poker i choose to store hands in HH folder for 360 days but i can only see the lsat 7 days.do you have any idea where they might be?they are not in HEM's archive folder because i hadn't that option checked.

If you deleted the folder all your data are lost.

If the hands are not under c:\hmarchive or c:\hm2archive i have no idea where they are.
