[ZOOM 25] Costly minraise dilemma

I think your sizing is fine actually. You must remember that the Stack:Pot ratio is much lower than in a regular HU pot where you raise 3BB and get called. In this hand, you raised to 8BB, and you got 2 callers, so the pot is now 24BB.

Comparing this to a normal single raised HU pot, where the pot is only about 6-7BB, now the pot is 3X larger. And when we think about 3bet pots, maybe you raise to 3bb, and someone 3bets you to 10bb and you call. the pot would be 20bb.

So your SPR is similar to that of a 3bet pot. And in 3bet pots we usually just halfpot cbet on dry flops.

As played b/f on Turn. I'm just wondering if we should bet T and bet River. I think your size on Turn is way too large, you could go even smaller. You should try to think about the River pot size and the amount left in stacks. It's very awkward when you bet this size.

BU calls $7, 14+12.85 = 26.85. You have 13 left. Ok so you have like halfpot left. If you did bet any larger, you would be committed almost always.
