Only had 24 hands on villain, but he's 74/39 idiot over those hands. Also from watching his play he seemed like a maniac.

I make a standard 3bet here with AKs and he shoves. Normally this is time to fold but I didn't mind to call his shove here because he isn't too stacked and seems like he'd shove very wide but from this small amount of stats and reads is it ok?

Party, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 7 Players

BTN: $2.22 (111 bb)
MP2: $1.02 (51 bb)
Hero (SB): $2 (100 bb)
MP3: $2.34 (117 bb)
CO: $2.67 (133.5 bb)
MP1: $1.36 (68 bb)
BB: $2.96 (148 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K A
MP1 raises to $0.06, MP2 calls $0.06, 3 folds, Hero raises to $0.24, 2 folds, MP2 raises to $1.02 and is all-in, Hero calls $0.78

Flop: ($2.12) 6 Q 5 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
Turn: ($2.12) T (2 players, 1 is all-in)
River: ($2.12) 6 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Results:

Spoiler

$2.12 pot ($0.10 rake)
Final Board: 6 Q 5 T 6
MP2 mucked 9 A and lost (-$1.02 net)
Hero showed K A and won $2.02 ($1 net)

given his a maniac plus eff 50bb left plus the potodds you're getting 0.78/2.10 amounts to 37.14%, and AKs against his range is quite likely to be ahead, I say its a call.

Hi Knyght,

Preflop: Why would we ever 3-bet fold AKs versus a 50 bb stack?

If you don't want to stack off with AK preflop don't 3-bet it.
