I want to raise the flop here to protect my overpair against draws, particularly the flushdraw.

I call the turn and river. Turn call is maybe ok, maybe could have raised? Or better to just fold? River call is pretty dubious at best I think.

Party, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 8 Players

Hero (MP3): $2 (100 bb)
CO: $2.23 (111.5 bb)
BTN: $2 (100 bb)
MP2: $0.98 (49 bb)
BB: $2 (100 bb)
MP1: $1.74 (87 bb)
SB: $1.27 (63.5 bb)
UTG+2: $1.03 (51.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with 9 9
2 folds, MP2 calls $0.02, Hero calls $0.02, 2 folds, SB completes, BB checks

Flop: ($0.08) 3 7 3 (4 players)
SB bets $0.02, 2 folds, Hero raises to $0.09, SB calls $0.07

Turn: ($0.26) 3 (2 players)
SB bets $0.08, Hero calls $0.08

River: ($0.42) T (2 players)
SB bets $0.32, Hero calls $0.32

Results:

Spoiler

$1.06 pot ($0.05 rake)
Final Board: 3 7 3 3 T
Hero mucked 9 9 and lost (-$0.51 net)
SB showed 4 T and won $1.01 ($0.50 net)

Hello,

I think our hand is good enough to raise preflop here.

Raising on the flop is fine.

As played on the flop, I prefer raising the turn for value from 7x/PPs/A high from times to times.

On the river calling is fine.

Best,
Plamen
