Poker Stars, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

MP: $1.31 (65.5 bb)
CO: $3.13 (156.5 bb)
BTN: $0.86 (43 bb)
Hero (SB): $4.50 (225 bb)
BB: $1.12 (56 bb)
UTG: $0.86 (43 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 6 6
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.08, BB raises to $0.18, Hero folds

The opponent is TAGgish. Later on, he tried to do this again, but I had a bit more playable hand, 4-betted and he folded. At this point, however, I didn't know whether he's capable of 3-betting light at all (it's not that common on NL2).

He's short, and I cannot call him for set-mining.

All in all, is raise/fold an optimal line in this position against an unknown TAG?

Cheers

Hi German,

Preflop: Considering villain is short I'd also opt for a fold.

If he proves to be 3-betting a lot we can start folding more SB and start raise/4-betting a wider range for value.
