For some reason it keeps telling me I'm not authorized to reply to posts, however I can make threads. I don't really understand why. I usually don't have this problem at other forums.

Hello mrfury and welcome to PokerStrategy,
as a basic member you can only create threads and answer in threads in the "Beginner Questions" - and "Introduce Yourself"-forum. As soon as you reach the Bronze status you will be able to post in other forums as well. Please don't forget to fill in your personal data.
