It's time for a fresh start.
2012 has been a horrible poker year. The last past months have been a new low in my poker career. A few years ago I was a winning player on NL25. Today, the 19th of December, I moved back from NL5 to NL2. And to be honest: I can only blame myself.
I've been playing so bad. But I can't really explain it. Before I play, I'm very motivated. But after a bad beat, I'm reaching a form of tilt. I convince myself I'm a better player. I try to outplay people, but my bluffs or 'advanced' moves aren't working. I convince myself other players play worse than me. But sadly, it's far from the truth.
It's a mental issue, and now it's time to solve it. That's the reason I started this blog: to keep myself on track.
Ok, enough whining. Positivity is the new keyword.
The first few weeks will be the hardest and also the most critical weeks of my comeback. Playing NL2 is a big step back. But it also opens a lot of possibilities. I will be able to re-evaluate everything I learned, everything I do.
I'll start tomorrow.
