don't really know what i should have done here. he's been pretty active over a small sample but i can't say what sort of player he is. im 3betting preflop for value since he's most likely calling wide IP.

what should i do in this spot? just a standard fold?

Against a reg I would lean towards a fold. Versus unknown I lean towards call and play a turn. Vs an active reg I would probably call as well. Probably check/folding if he bets big on the turn.
