25/50 No Limit Hold'em Tournament (7 Handed)
Hand recorder for this hand: PokerStrategy.com SideKick 1.0.51221.1

Preflop: Hero is SB with 7♦, 7♣
Hero posts small blind (25), BB posts big blind (50), 3 folds, CO raises for 100, BU folds, Hero calls, BB folds

Flop: (250 - 5 bb) 8♥, 4♣, 3♥ (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets 200, Hero folds, CO gets uncalled back (200)

Would this have been a good spot to Check raise? Or should i have donked the flop?

Didn't want to risk it cos we were both so deep. Villain probably only had overcards, but could easily have been holding a PP.

Thanks,
Alpha

What flop you would like to see to continue? 77x? If you call there then its the best flop you can get, bet the flop.
Get a tracker, it gives you a lot of info like steal %, afq etc. Minraise from co is wierd, for me its the sign that hes got a low pocket or sc and usually i 3bet there but it depends who is oponent.

yeah, villain was an unknown. But yes, misplayed the flop badly, shoulda best about 200 and folded to a strong raise. That line is better, aye?

Hello all,

Hand is played OK. There is no need to donk or check/raise. On this limits there are a lot of week players, so there is no need to make fancy moves. We are going to have much more favorable situations.

Best regards,
Antoan
