IPoker, $0.02/$0.04 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players

Hero (BB): $4 (100 bb)
UTG: $4 (100 bb)
MP: $7.10 (177.5 bb)
CO: $7.98 (199.5 bb)
BTN: $4 (100 bb)
SB: $2.65 (66.3 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K 9
4 folds, SB raises to $0.08, Hero raises to $0.20, SB calls $0.12

Flop: ($0.40) Q 9 8 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.30, SB calls $0.30

Turn: ($1) 5 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.75, SB calls $0.75

River: ($2.50) Q (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $2.50, SB folds

Too aggressive play? SB was known to be a blind stealer on the table..so that's why I reraise on preflop...

Hi there,

I think you should fold preflop unless he steals almost every single hand from SB. Just "known as a blind stealer" is not enough, imo. RFI in different positions is really helpful (it's a stat).

Also, since he's short, maybe we could just call preflop.

Wow. River play is pretty brave :) What did you think he had? I would expect to see a queen at the showdown quite often.

Hi,

Considering villain is short and unknown I prefer a fold preflop. Our 3-bet is also really small so he will call more often which is not good for our hand.

As played what are we hoping an unknown villain calls/folds on turn and river?
