8 BB stack on the bubble of a 9man $1.50 on Pokerstars.

Wiz says a fold, but close. Jamming BvB is obvious but CO here?

Got ~70 Hands on them:

BU: 48/10
SB: 24/17 Fold to Steal 80%/Call Steal 20%
BB: 28/22 Fold to Steal 90%/Call Steal 10%

Known Players:
CO: 1525 - 8 bb
BU: 5385 - 27 bb
SB: 5100 - 26 bb
BB: 1490 - 7 bb

100/200 No Limit Hold'em Tournament (4 Handed)
Hand recorder for this hand: PokerStrategy.com SideKick 1.0.51221.1

Preflop: Hero is CO with A♠, 5♥
3 pays ante, Hero pays ante (25), SB posts small blind (100), BB posts big blind (200), Hero raises for 1500 and is all in, 3 folds, Hero gets uncalled back (1300)

Hi,

I think BU and SB will call wider than Nash here given tthe stack set ups. With 8bb left I think I would wait for a better spot. I would probably shove something like 55+ A7+ A8s+.

See what the judges say.....

I have looked at this further, I hope a Judge can look too...

CO - 26.4%, 22+ A2s+ A7o+ A5o K8s+ KTo+ Q9s+ QTo+ J8s+ JTo T8s+ 98s
BU - 10%, 55+ A8s+ ATo+
SB - 1.4%, QQ+
BB - 4.2%, 99+ AQs+ AKo

The play looks +EV so I am happy. The BB is loose, but surely that means I am ahead of his calling range a ton here.

Am I missing something?

I think SB calls much wider than QQ+ which means you have to tighten your shoving range a little adjust for this.

However you are shoving into your direct opponent, and the BB is to hit you next where direct opponent then has position on you, so maybe this can be shoved....?

I forgot to add the antes... now it is an easy shove.

CO - 31.2%, 22+ Ax+ K6s+ KTo+ Q8s+ QTo+ J8s+ JTo T8s+ 98s 87s
BU - 10.9%, 55+ A8s+ A9o+
SB - 1.4%, QQ+
BB - 5.9%, 88+ AJs+ AQo+

I am not sure the ranges will be much bigger as I have been tight, SB may want to call wider, but will go from a comfortable 2nd to 3rd if the call doesn't work out. This is a big problem for him.

In such spots I would fold unless I had ATs in the SB as a minimum, so not sure my Co shoving range needs to be much smaller. Obviously if he is calling with Kx or Qx I am happy to flip.

Hi all,

This is too optimistic: SB is calling much wider than that! I'm quite tight here in your spot, something like A8o+ seems good.
