Hello everybody,

This hand is from a 5$ 1 table SNG on titan poker.
Villain had 27 vpip and 9 pfr.
I still have trouble assinging good ranges to opponents, and 9% seemed really low opening range, but I tought it was about a breakeven call. But maybe I'm underestimating ICM here? I was wondering with what range you would call villain?

Using Holdem Resources and plugging in some stacks. I have used 100/50 blinds as a standard having not got the actual blind levels here.

A CO shove here results in the following ranges...

CO - 30%, 22+ A2s+ A3o+ K7s+ KTo+ Q8s+ QTo+ J8s+ JTo T8s+ 98s 87s
BU - 10.9%, 55+ A8s+ A9o+
SB - 4.2%, 99+ AQs+ AKo
BB - 4.2%, 99+ AQs+ AKo

Looking at the above you are a little loose here :)

Disclaimer: I am pretty new to ICM Calc so if I have something off here, please advise

No it looks fine :P I should learn to use that too haha. It seems like a pretty decent range for him to shove, so I'm pretty sure it was indeed too loose :P

Thanks :)

Hello all,

This SB calling range looks too tight to me. I prefer to call here with something like - 44+,A9+,A8s+. If villain is pushing loose we can call even a bit wider and add hands like A7s and KQs.

Best regards,
Antoan
