What do you guys use as a opening? 3bb or more? I do always 3 because I'm loose agro style playing now. Is that good?

On this boards I always bet small with so much people.
I bet small to get some vallue of Qx hands and the raise I expect from flushes.
Can I call the river? I dont know really.

Hi Yordi,

Preflop: If our range is wide like it seems yours is here 3x is fine.

I'd open TJs here if we had fishy blinds and we wanted to isolate him. Otherwise it may be a bit light.

Postflop: I'm not sure I understand your logic behind a small bet? After all we have J high so picking up the pot isn't bad. What value are we getting from Qx?

What do we know about MP here?

Since he is the first in (after your raise) he is less likely to have worse flushes like 78/89 (unless he is fishy) so I'd be tempted to bet/fold. Why did we bet the river so small on that blank? We are certainly losing value from Qx and may induce bluffs both of which are not good for us (if we plan to bet/fold).

So in spots where you are more likely to be behind it is bad to bet so small for blufinduce because you put yourself in a situation That is -EV and convince yourself to call because it can be a bluf it is just bad...

Happy newyear Bogdan I hope it's going to be a +EV year for you! And thanks anyway! Im planning to post 5 hands per session of 1000 hands to find the biggest leaks. Thansk for helping!

Yup, I think if we did a proper cbet and a nice 70-80% turn bet, we would have no dilemma here, because we would just push that river :)
