Interesting spot:
UTG is Fish
BTN is Fish
SB is reggish/weak.

I 3bet for value pre, cuz the fish will flat alot of hands i still dominate, maybe vs utg it's a bit sceptical, but hell it's a fish.
Gettin 2 flats behind was not something i expected, like ever.

Sooo, seeing SB is reggish, I only see him flatting 99 that beats me, as he would 4bet AK/AA/KK and fold AQ/A9/Q9 so i'm not scared of him.

UTG can have all random sorts of crap here cuz he's so priced in pre.
BTN is the player i'm most scared of, and the reason i can't really bet for value here. Cuz most of his aces that flat a 3bet beat me, and not alot Kx would flat.

So what do we do? Cbet for protection/value or check and get to showdown? And if we cbet, sizing?

Party, $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

BB: $242.42 (242.4 bb)
SB: $102.16 (102.2 bb)
UTG: $100 (100 bb)
BTN: $97.37 (97.4 bb)
Hero (MP): $103.18 (103.2 bb)
CO: $51.50 (51.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A J
UTG raises to $4, Hero raises to $11, CO folds, BTN calls $11, SB calls $10.50, BB folds, UTG calls $7

Flop: ($45) A K 9 (4 players)
SB checks, UTG checks

Hi Varune

PF is std obv.

Looks like an easy CB for value on the flop. Sure we can't vbet vs SB but that's not our main target. You said BTN was a fish so why can't he have hands like A5s or ATs? He'll even call KJs, KTs, KQs on the flop. And there is obviously a lot of value to get from UTG. Bet for value :)

29$?

I bet 13 and fold vs a raise. Doing thisnwith my entire value range of aa ak kk (maybe checking aa is fine too)

Why 13? Our range is ahead vs fishes their ranges and there is enough value? Don't rly get it

Why balance vs fish?

Balance is impt with 2 other regs in the hand. And also betting larger isolates vs stronger hands only (we rep ak kk aa so hard). Its a cheap way to test out the other two regs (and i dxpect them to never bluff raise me cos of our balance ans strength here). Fyi im not cbrtting qq jj tt here so my cbet range is very strong

Betting small allows us to sieve out the random jj qq tt that the other two guys may have (and if they call we are done cos we are crushed by aq and ak)

If they both fold and fish calls we have more options on future streets (though im notnoptimistic abt getting a second vakue bet when we look uber strong aftrr betting in fourway)

I think even the fish may realize this fourway dynamic and tighten up his calling ranges

There's only 1 reg in the hand :) but it doesn't change that much.

Had already discussed it on skype aswell and we also thought cbetting small would be the best plan. Cuz betting big would be overkill and we would be leveling ourselves.
With a small cbet we are easier getting value from the fishes and it has to work way less times as a bluff aswell to be profitable.

As this is hardly a valuebet cuz our range and their ranges are overall stronger than AJ here.
