SB: 930.00
BB: 50.00
UTG: 4,440.00
Hero (BTN): 6,580.00

SB posts SB 200.00, BB posts BB 50.00

Pre Flop: (pot: 250.00) Hero has T♣ 9♠

UTG calls 400.00, Hero raises to 6,580.00 and is all-in, fold, fold

This is something I tend to do sometimes when I have a big stack. I know this isn't a regular FR sng where 4 handed its all about abusing the bubble, there is an equity ceiling here and I don't gain anything from having extra chips. I guess I do it just to be a bully lol

Is it really bad to abuse the bubble in DoNs like this?

It's not bad to abuse the bubble but I wouldn't go all in in this scenario... if you bet 1000 you will probably have the same result and you don't risk UTG having a monsterhand and calling you for a large part of your stack.

Hi all,

Shoving wide looks fine here. It allows you to further decrease your chances of bubbling, even if the shortstacks doubled up over and over again. I'm not a huge fan of raise/folding 11bb, not because it's bad in terms of pot odds (it's not too bad, villain will go broke with a pretty tight range without history), but because it creates some really really bad spots if villain decides to just limp/call.
