My old blog died (you can find it here), because I did not put enough efford in updating it.
Hopefully this one will get more attention and will be little more interesting.
After I cleared my Iron Man bonus on new FTP, I withdrew big chunk of my roll, I needed money for real life expenses (hollydays - needed to buy gifts for family and GF). As of right now I have a roll of ~$500. I'm not exactly sure how much, will check all sites and skrill and give more exact figure later.
Because I was grinding Rush 6max NLHE for the last week of bonus, to clear it all, I got little tired of it. Few days before New Year I tried PLO. Had ~$30 on Pokerstars at that time. Opened 2 ZOOM PLO10 tables (BRM FTW), and won ~10 stacks in 1k hands. ♦ Sure I was running hot, but decided I'll give it a tr...
Here is my graph for PLO (mostly it is PLO10 ZOOM. Running godlike, won most of 60/40 hands and lots of flips, but still feels good.
I realize that downswing will probably hit me hard and I have to prepare for it mentally.
What is a good winrate for PLO anyway?
My goals for January:
[+] Watch "PLO for Beginners" Video series by Huckebein(4/4)
[] Watch "Moving up in Omaha" Video series by suitedeule(1/8)
[] Read silver strategy articles (2/10)
[] Play 30k hands in January
[] Update this blog and keep it interesting and alive
I will use 50BI BRM for micros and will adjust when I go up the limits:
PLO10 --> $500, step down with $200
PLO25 --> $1250, step down with $800 and rebuild
PLO50 --> $2500, step down with $1700 and rebuild
Or if any more experienced players have better suggestion for BRM? Any input appritiated. ![]()
